Beshmet for Kuban Cossack units is made of red satin. Tight fit at the waist with a cut-off skirt that has a slit at the back from waist to bottom. Sleeves are straight, tapering to the bottom. Stand-up collar, straight sides with hooks to butt-off waist. For the commanding staff, the collar along the upper edge and the sides to the waist have a light blue edging and are edged with a gold galloon 6 – 7 mm wide, and sleeve insignia are sewn on the sleeves.
Cavalry buttonholes are sewn on the collar of the beshmet.
